Have your say on a University discussion paper


Dear students,

Earlier this year, students and staff had the opportunity to have their say on the way that our professional services are delivered by contributing to the Professional Services Project (PSP) consultation. Your feedback suggested that the University could be more efficient and improve the student experience by reducing layers of bureaucracy and simplifying our processes.

In response, the PSP team has developed a discussion paper proposing a new professional support services model. The intent is to better organise support services staff so that they are more closely aligned with the University’s academic and student groups. The proposed model could provide support within our existing School and Faculty structure, but also be sufficiently flexible to adapt to any future changes.

Whilst change to the professional services of the University will not have a direct impact on your studies, it is important for you to have the opportunity to have your say on how we provide professional support for students and staff.

The discussion paper can be viewed here until 21 October 2016.

You can provide feedback by participating in the FLO online discussion, by emailing 2025@flinders.edu.au or by attending a student forum on Thursday 6 October.
