    Flinders University is participating in the 2021 Student Experience Survey (SES) during August 2021.

    The SES is a national survey which is being conducted for the Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment. Your feedback is very important and will contribute directly to the quality of teaching and learning for current and future students.

    The SES is administered online. Students randomly selected to participate in the survey will receive an email invitation with a link to the SES questionnaire.

    We encourage you to participate in this important survey but your involvement is voluntary. All responses are confidential and no personal information will be linked to your response.

    There are plenty of prizes to give away so get in early to increase your chances of winning!*

    Skills Week

    Now is a great time to develop some good study habits and learn some new skills to help you succeed both while you’re at Uni and in your future career. That’s what  Skills Week , the fourth and final week of our Orientation Program is all about; empowering you with the tools you need to succeed!

    Join the Shut Up and Study session, our online meetups with the aim of getting work done! Join via Collaborate from 2pm - 3:30pm, Thursday 12 August. Shut Up and Study is appropriate for everyone, not just new students.

    The Flinders Horizon Award - Collaboration & Teamwork Workshop will help equip you with the skills to engage and succeed in professional teamwork environments. Join the online workshop from 2pm - 3:30pm, Thursday 12 August.

    Good Vibes Experiment

    The  Good Vibes Experiment (GVE)  is a campaign led by students at Flinders University. The campaign encourages us all to experiment with adding wellbeing-focused activities to our everyday lives. It isn’t about pretending to be happy. It’s about developing the knowledge and skills necessary to improve, sustain, repair or strengthen mental health. 

    The GVE Activity Book is a fantastic resource full of unique exercises and experiments for you to try. Some of them are just for fun and to relax, while others are challenges to question your way of thinking, your habits, your priorities, etc.

    You can pick up a hard copy of the GVE Activity Book anytime from the Oasis Student Wellbeing Centre or you can also order a book to be sent to your home via the website.
