EMPIRE TIMES EDITORIAL TEAM* (a team of three students)

Do you want to be in charge of a magazine? Do you consider yourself a jack of all trades? It is not obligatory that you have experience in publishing and design programs as you will be trained. You just need to be willing to learn about print, web, social media and graphic design.

A team of three editors make up the Empire Times Editorial Team. The team is responsible for the creation and publication of 10 editions of the student magazine (Empire Times) over the course of the academic year.

If you don’t have a team – don’t sweat. We can help you link up with others who are in the same boat.

The National Union of Students (NUS) is the peak representative body for undergraduate students in Australia. NUS works to protect the rights of students across Australia, organises national campaigns on issues affecting students in a range of different areas, and ensures that the student voice is heard by government, the media, and the public.

*Positions in both Student Council and the Empire Times Editorial Team receive honorariums. For more information regarding honorariums and the roles please visit the elections page.
