Changes were made to both the Flinders and eduroam wireless networks last weekend as an essential step toward providing greater wireless coverage across Flinders University.
Some issues have been identified arising from these changes, which may have affected you, including:
- Inability to connect devices to the Flinders and/or Eduroam wireless networks;
- Multiple requests to accept certificates; and
- Difficulties with FAN/password authentication
A number of the issues causing these anomalies have been identified and resolved. However, some issues remain which are continuing to be monitored, analysed and actioned as a high priority.
The matter is being treated extremely seriously by both the University and the system vendor and we apologise for any inconvenience these service disruptions are causing.
