An extraordinary opportunity knocks at your door.

Join our 22 day study tour to Indonesia to experience the culture, history, language, local government bodies, NGOs and study through practical experience. This valuable experience will significantly add to your overall university study and future career.

The study tour is open for all Flinders University students and begins on Feb 2nd 2014. Classwork consists of an overview of Indonesia’s geography, economy, history, politics, language, religion and international relations. Visits to important landmarks in Indonesia, social and cultural events, dance workshops, batik classes, exploring a volcanic mountainous area and viewing AusAid’s work in Indonesia will all be part of your first hand interaction with the country.

Eligible students will receive a grant of $2,000 from the AsiaBound program towards this trip. You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, but further eligibility requirements are surprisingly easy.

Costs are $1,700 for the study tour + airfare to Indonesia (don’t forget the $2,000 grant to help)

Successful completion of the study tour will give you credit for an elective topic in your degree. Normal tuition fees apply (eg HECS). OS-HELP may be available.
