ELECTION OF AN UNDERGRADUATE AND A POSTGRADUATE STUDENT MEMBER OF FLINDERS UNIVERSITY COUNCIL FOR 2014
Council is the governing body of the University and is responsible for overseeing the management and development of the University, devising or approving strategic plans and major policies, and monitoring and reviewing the operation of the University.
Last week nominations were invited via email for the election of one student member of the University Council to be elected by undergraduate students and one student member elected by postgraduate students. The successful candidates will hold office for a term of one year from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2014.
Students wishing to nominate for election as members of Council should read the instructions (including information on eligibility and the nomination process) and download a nomination form from the Elections website: http://www.flinders.edu.au/elections
