Universities Australia, the peak body representing Australia’s largest 39 universities, has released a policy statement, A Smarter Australia, which outlines a policy and investment framework for universities in the future.
The policy statement is the culmination of 12 months work undertaken by Universities Australia involving workshops, community forums, consultation with UA members and the broader community, and a comprehensive program of market research. The policy statement, A Smarter Australia, was launched by the Chair of Universities Australia, Professor Glyn Davis, at the National Press Club last week.
