Work on the exciting, new College front for College of Medicine and Public Health (MPH) and College Nursing and Health Sciences (NHS) starts soon. The new College front will be a contemporary, purpose-built, collaborative student service environment, being created in the existing location adjacent to the FMC library.
To enable works to commence, some temporary relocations and access diversions will be put in place.
Staff in this area will move from 3pm on Friday 27 September and the existing College front reception will close from this time, reopening in its temporary location on Monday 30 September in 5E307 in the lecture theatre lobby.
SAS team staff will relocate to temporary areas in 5E314, 5E315 and 5E316 (behind the Lecture Theatre) and WIL and elearning to HS5.13 and HS5.15 (Health Sciences Building). Staff phone numbers will remain the same.
Work on the new College front will commence on 1 October and computer room 5E025, meeting room 5E202 and teaching spaces 5E212 & 5E214 will be closed. An alternative temporary entry to the FMC library will also be created at this time next to room 5E224.
As the works progress there may be other pedestrian and access diversions required.
