Students from a rural or regional location starting a new degree in 2019 (including students transferring internally to a new degree) are encouraged to apply for one of 1,200 new scholarships worth up to $18,000 per student.
To be eligible, students must be planning to study in the following broad fields of STEM:
- Natural and Physical Sciences
- Information Technology
- Engineering and Related Technologies
- Agriculture, Environmental and Related Studies
- Health (except Complementary Therapies)
Applications close on 14 December 2018.
All supporting documents need to be submitted by 13 January 2019. Scholarship
recipients will be announced on 11 February 2019.
