Work on the University’s high voltage electrical upgrade will cause some traffic disruptions along University Drive and Ring Road over the next few weeks.
The bike and foot path will be temporarily closed in order to complete works underway at the edge of the forest on University Drive and up Ring Road to the pedestrian crossing. Pedestrians and cyclists should plan an alternate path along Flinders Walk, through Flinders Living campus and across the footbridge, to access the pedestrian crossing on Ring Road.
Some speed restrictions and traffic management will also be in place. It is expected that the majority of this work will take place throughout the teaching break however some restrictions may still be in place for a short period after semester resumes.
