At the close of nominations, for the By-Election of an Ordinary Council Member (one position) on the Flinders University Student Association (FUSA) Student Council, for a term of office from 7 March 2014 to 31 December 2014, more nominations were received than there are positions and therefore a ballot will now be held.

The ballot will be conducted electronically on the University’s website, commencing at 9:00am (Australian Daylight Saving Time) on the 4th of March 2014 and closing at 3:00pm (Australian Daylight Saving Time) on the 6th of March 2014.

The election web page contains an electronic ballot form and the candidate statements provided by each of the candidates.

We are strongly encouraging all students from across the University to take the time to vote. The Student Council plays a crucial role in making student life a vibrant, exciting and safe experience. The Student Council has some significant funds and resources at its disposal (part of your student fee!) and we are very keen that as many students take part in this important act of democracy.

A vibrant and strong Student Council needs your vote and support!
