Welcome to the digital learning practice examples collection
All items in the collection have been or are being actively taught, and have 'proved themselves in practice'. While their full value is realised only in the context of the topic as a whole, each item stands alone with its own intrinsic value. Together, these items demonstrate the diversity of approaches across disciplines, year levels and delivery modes at Flinders.
Many of these items can be used to demonstrate practice across multiple digital learning guidelines, however, they have been allocated to one only, for simplicity's sake.
We hope that you use them as sources of inspiration for your own topics. And, we are looking for more examples, so please use the tool below to register your interest in having your own practice examples included. We are looking for a variety of approaches.
Warmly, the Learning Designers.
We are looking to fill this site with examples from real practice. If you have done something in your topic that demonstrates one of the Digital Learning Guidelines, or that simply worked really well with your students, please submit the URL of your FLO site and the name of the activity or resource. We will contact you to confirm, then take a copy from your FLO site, and strip out the student activity before we include it in this examples site.
We are aiming to bring these seemingly simple strategies ‘to life’, as it were, transforming them from artefact to more of an insight into practice. If you would like to augment the example with a short video, audio grab or written statement that explains your thinking behind doing this (eg motivation, aim, your process), that would be a great addition. At the least, we would include your name and the topic title. It is important to the project that we include examples from real practice and give due credit for good work 😊. Please indicate whether you would be willing to do this, and we can help you if you like.
If you prefer, we can contact you if you have questions, or would to discuss if you prefer.
