Construction has recently commenced on the new Plaza and Student Hub which will open in 2016. There will be a number of changes to food and beverage options available on campus during construction.

Please note that all Union Building food and beverage outlets will be closing at 5 pm on Wednesday 19 November 2014. In particular, note that Sage, Red Vines, Coopers Bar, Subway, Blue Duck and the Refectory will close on this date.

The following options will be available:

From November 2014

  • One Byte Café in the Central Library will remain open for the duration of the long break, closely following Library opening hours
  • The Wholefood Store is moving to the Plaza, next to STA Travel, on Monday, 24 November 2014, and will trade through University core hours over the long break

From mid February 2015

  • McHughs is undergoing renovations to include a temporary Student Bar reopening mid February 2015
  • The University is working on a temporary food court solution for 2015 – more details will be provided in due course

All other Flinders One outlets will be unaffected during construction.

With apologies for any inconvenience during this transition, and with thanks for your cooperation as the new face of Flinders is created.
